Version 3.0

Released September 19, 2026. A new DirectPoll: every page redesigned, live results in PowerPoint, and optional paid extras for when you need more time.

Redesign

• Every page has a new design: the cockpit, the vote page, the result screen and the e-mails. The cockpit and the vote page work on phones too.
• The Excel file you download from the cockpit has a new, clearer layout.

New poll options

• A poll title, which you can show on the vote page and the result screen, and which makes the e-mails with your links and notifications easier to recognize.
• A Custom theme for the result screen, with your own colors and font.

Cockpit

• Edit poll: prepare your questions and settings.
• Live results: follow the votes and participants as they come in while you run the poll.

PowerPoint integration

• The DirectPoll add-in for PowerPoint on Windows and the companion app for PowerPoint on macOS show live results right on your slides and move the poll along as you present. See Embed your Poll into a PowerPoint Presentation.
• One click in the cockpit creates a ready-to-present slide deck for your poll.

DirectPoll Plus

• Optional paid extras, each marked with a and never charged without a confirmation page that shows the price first: extend a running poll by a year, renew an expired one, or become a DirectPoll Supporter to keep all your polls running and get a badge with your name. Earlier versions

Version 2 was released in February 2017 and served DirectPoll until September 2026.

Version 1 was released in January 2014, when DirectPoll went online, as a beta at first.
