Email Terms & Conditions

How DirectPoll collects and uses your email address.

Why we ask for your email address

When you create a poll, DirectPoll asks for your email address. Without it, we cannot provide you with the service. DirectPoll does not collect your name or require you to create an account with a password.

How we use your email address

Your email address is collected and processed solely for the purpose of providing the service. Specifically, it is used for:

  • Authentication – confirming your identity alongside your poll identifier, so that only you can access your poll's cockpit link.
  • Service communications – sending you the poll links (vote link, results link, cockpit link) to your inbox, notifying you when your poll is approaching its expiration date, and informing you of important service updates.

We do not use your email address for marketing purposes or share it with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

Your right to withdraw consent

You may withdraw your consent for us to use your email address at any time by contacting us at info@directpoll.com. Please note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide the service to you.
